2010 in Review – Czech Extraleague – MZLU Express Brno

Even though 2011 already started we still continue our series to look back at the 2010 season in European Baseball. After Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and France, the Czech Extraleague steps to the plate.

2010 Ranking: Third place in Czech Extraleague after regular season. MZLU Express Brno won its quarterfinal series against local rivals Hrosi Brno in four games, before losing in five games in the semi-finals against Technika Brno.
Runs Scored: 168 (4th)
Runs Allowed: 128 (3rd)

Best Batter: David Winkler. He batted .404 (OBP .462/SLG .521) with two homeruns, five doubles, 17 runs and 26 RBI in 26 games in the 2010 season.
