The 39-year-old Andy Fleischacker is not going to Italy to coach the Avigliana Bees in the Federal Serie B after all. While we already reported that a deal was in place, both sides couldn’t reach a final agreement. The American instead will go to Austria to take over the head coach position of the Austrian Baseball League club Schwaz Tigers. The Tigers have reached the final series for two consecutive seasons, but both times had to settle for second place. Fleischacker also is going to coach the Swiss National Team, as announced earlier this week.
