The MARLINS PUERTO CRUZ and CB SANT BOI swept their doubleheaders versus the bottom half clubs VILADECANS and PAMPLONA. Both moved past FC BARCELONA, which split the most interesting twin bill this weekend against BASEBALL NAVARRA:

The doubleheader between BASEBALL NAVARRA and FC BARCELONA ended with two shutouts, one for the home team and one for the guests. NAVARRA scored two fast runs in the first three periods in game two through RBI singles by Luis Villanueva and Arkaitz Ordoki to deliver enough run support for starter German Arroyo (W 2-2). He allowed just one hit and a walk in five innings, while striking out four. Juan Jose Lopez received the save after four innings of three-hit relief. Homer Baez (L 3-1) lost for the first time this season. He gave up nine hits, two runs (1 ER) and two base on balls in 6 2/3 innings. He struck out eight.
On Sunday BARCELONA struck back and defeated NAVARRA 9-0. Jorge Balboa (W 2-0) threw seven scoreless innings, giving up seven hits and a walk, while striking out six. Jesus Golindano and Miguel Mora each had two hits and combined for three RBI. Oriol Baltrons drove in two. Albert Diaz and Emmanuel Febles scored four of the nine runs. Alberto Espanol (L 2-2) was charged with four hits, four runs (2 ER) and four bb in five innings.
