Templiers defend first place in Toulouse

Posted on May 9, 2008May 9, 2008 by philipp

Coming from winning the Challenge de France, the TEMPLIERS have to travel to Toulouse to play the third ranked club STADE. Both teams met last Saturday in the semi-finals with SENART being victorious by a score of 5-2. The TEMPLIERS are riding an eight-game winning streak and hope to continue to win this week. They will have another tough task, when they face the HUSKIES.

ROUEN disappointed at the CHALLENGE too, being eliminated due to tiebreaker rules after the preliminary round. They are host to CLERMONT-FERRAND, which they had beaten 14-1 last week. Despite the dismal season, the HUSKIES are still in second place and right in the middle of the pack. Obviously their performance is not as dominant as last years. They hope to get a spark with the return of Kenji Hagiwara, who is expected in France at the end of May.
