Eleven members, all position players, of the Spanish national team and four coaches will hold an instructional-league-like training camp in Tenerife from November 6 to 14. Especially fundamentals will be on focus during the daily work-outs. After reaching the second round at the Baseball World Cup in 2009, Spain didn’t fulfill expectations at the European Championship in Germany this summer. Winning just two of five games during the preliminary round against Croatia and Sweden, the Iberian team had to settle for ninth place in the final standings.

Spanish NT Players in Tenerife from November 6 to 14:

  • 2B Emmanuel Febles
  • 2B Daniel Sanchez
  • 3B A. Sanchez
  • 3B G. Briones
  • 3B Franklin Tavarez
  • SS Pau Sancho
  • OF H. Armas
  • OF Lesther Galvan
  • OF Deion Galvan
  • OF Daniel Martinez
  • OF R. Agueda
