Mr. Cocker HCAW adds 4 new Players for 2011

Posted on October 28, 2010October 29, 2010 by philipp

Mr. Cocker HCAW reduced the gap towards the top four in the Dutch Hoofdklasse, but missed the playoffs again. For next season’s run they are adding four new players to the 2011 rosters according to Honkbalsite.com. It was already know that they have signed Lennart Koster and Maarten Mulder from league rival Konica Minolta Pioniers. Mulder already played in Bussum in 2003 and 2004.

Additionally they are promoting Rodney Daal to the Headclass team. However since he has signed with the San Diego Padres organization he most likely will not be much available throughout next year. Head coach Bill Froberg is also welcoming Wesley Bernards and Dennis Burgersdijk, who are coming from the withdrawing Almere Magpies.

Not coming back are Bart Gabriels and Robin van Eis. Both will go a level down, joining second-division teams. Gabriels is going to play for Haarlemse Sparks, while Van Eis is going to RCH. Laurens Dammers and Sebastiaan Olgers also will no longer be part of the first-team roster, as they will play for the second team of HCAW.
