Results Bundesliga May 4

Posted on May 4, 2008May 4, 2008 by philipp

The perhaps toughest stretch for the Bundesliga clubs during the regular season is in the books. The highly anticipated duel between REGENSBURG and HEIDENHEIM ended with a split. The HEIDEKOEPFE took the first game through a walk off RBI single by Simon Guehring in the ninth. However the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE came back in game two, chasing Mike Hartley in the second period and winning 16-8. Slugger Alex Lauterbach had three homeruns on the day, including a grand slam in the second match.

In the north the ALLIGATORS extended their winning streak to start the season to eleven games. They brought their big bats to Dortmund and gave their young starting pitching of Robin Drache and Jens Cornelsen enough run support. Derek Malikian hit a three run shot in the first match and scored five runs in the doubleheader.

Short recaps to follow these days.
