Austrian Finals: A’s try to complete Sweep

Posted on October 8, 2010 by philipp

The trophy in the Austrian Baseball League will be handed out this weekend, as the Athletics Attnang-Puchheim will host the Schwaz Tigers for games three to possible five. The A’s have a 2-0 lead after the first two games and look to complete the sweep. Attnang’s manager Alper Bozkurt announced on Thursday that he will send Thomas Schrittwieser to the mound as starting pitcher in game three. Miles Ethridge and Walter Strasser would follow in games four and five if necessary. The Tigers will rely on Franz Haisjackl to avoid elimination and would use Daniel Hayes to oppose Ethridge in a game four.
