Results Austrian Baseball League September 11&12

Posted on September 12, 2010 by philipp

The regular season ended in the Austrian Baseball League this weekend. The Union Kufstein Vikings missed out on moving into the second spot in the standings after splitting their doubleheader with the Vienna Wanderers on Saturday. On Sunday the Vienna Metrostars clinched fifth place in the final standings with a 9-7 win over the Stock City Cubs. The Wanderers, Vikings, Athletics Attnang-Puchheim and Schwaz Tigers will play in the semi-finals, starting next week. The Rohrbach Crazy Geese will get relegated into the second division, while the Schwechat Blue Bats can still secure their spot in the 2011 ABL in a relegation series.
