While the playoffs in Swiss Baseball started this weekend with a split between the Embrach Mustangs and Bern Cardinals, the regular season is still under way and will be until next Saturday. On Sunday the Zurich Barracudas split their twin bill with the Therwil Flyers to conclude the regular season with a 12-12 record. However their fourth spot in the standings isn’t safe, as the Zurich Challengers have one more make-up game against the Flyers left on the schedule. Meanwhile the semi-finals started with Embrach taking game one on Saturday by a score of 4-3. One day later, the Cardinals came back to win 5-2 behind a 13-strikeout performance of John Baum.
