Results Austrian Baseball League August 21&22

Posted on August 22, 2010 by philipp

It wasn’t the weekend for the two leading teams in the Austrian Baseball League. While the top-ranked Vienna Wanderers at least got one win against the Schwaz Tigers, the Attnang-Puchheim Athletics dropped both ends of their doubleheader against the Union Kufstein Vikings. With the split by the Tigers the race for fourth place stays thrilling two games before the end of the regular season, as the Vienna Metrostars pummeled the Schwechat Blue Bats to improve to fifth in the standings, just one game behind Schwaz.
