The SAARLOUIS HORNETS have suspended third baseman and pitcher Chris Sweeney since Tuesday April 15 for the first-team practice and the game against the GAUTING INDIANS this Sunday. The reason for the suspension is off field conduct that is detrimental to the team.
Sweeney was off to a good start, hitting .500 with a homerun, five runs scored and five RBI against the ATOMICS. He also got the win in a 14-4 blowout in game two, pitching six innings with six hits, four runs (2 ER) and four walks allowed.
