Cariparma Parma answered a four-run first by T&A San Marino with five runs in the first three innings en route to a 6-4 win and the sweep of week three in the semi-finals in the Italian Baseball League. Marco Yepez went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI. Alex Sambucci drove in two. Dean Rovinelli and Riccardo Suardi had put the Titans ahead with two-run doubles. Mihai Burlea (PAR) issued five hits, four runs and four bb in four innings. Justin Cicatello (W) received the win after two scoreless innings of relief. Matteo Tonellato (L) gave up five hits, five runs and a walk in four innings.

UGF Bologna scored three runs in the last two frames to erase a 1-3-deficit in a 4-3 win against Telemarket Rimini. Francesco Alaimo tied the contest with a RBI double in the ninth and later scored the winning run on a sac fly by Eddy Garabito. Claudio Signori had four hits for the Pirates. Sandy Patrone (RIM) allowed just one hit and two walks in five scoreless innings. Fabio Betto (BOL) conceded four hits in four scoreless frames. Fabio Milano (W) received the win. Michele Quattrini (L) took the loss.
