From August 2nd to 7th the European Softball Championship Under-22 were played in Prague, Czech Republic. Unfortunately the final between the Czech Republic and Italy couldn’t be played due to rain and first place was assigned to the Czech Republic, as they were undefeated in five games. The Squadra Azzurra had reached the championship game with a 6-5 win over Russia.
