Swedish Elitserien returns after month-long Break

The Swedish National Team impressed during the 2010 European Championship in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg with a fifth-place finish and highlighted by the 3-2 victory over Italy in the first round, the lone loss for the new European Champion in the tournament.

On Sunday the players return back to the field in the Swedish Elitserien, battling for runs in pursuit of a semi-final spot in the Top-Six round. Stockholm with Euros heroes Joakim and Jakob Claesson on the mound are trying to defend first place on the road against Tranås. Additionally the Leksand Lumberjacks take on the Karlskoga Bats and Goteborg hosts Sundbyberg Heat.
