Posted on July 16, 2010 by philipp

Shortstop Martin Drong of Skokani Olomouc and pitcher Radek Prochazka of AVG Draci Brno complete the Czech roster for the Italian Baseball Week and the upcoming European Championship in Germany. The Czech Baseball Association already had announced a 22-man roster a few days ago. On that list Prochazka was listed as an assistant coach. But an extra arm never hurts.

While a few players reinforced the Czech Under-21 team at the Prague Baseball Week these days, the main part of the Euros 2010 preparations for the Czech National Team start tonight, when they are playing in the Italian Baseball League with host Italy, Spain and Sweden. The warm-up tournament in Italy lasts until next Tuesday.

An interview with Czech national team head coach Arnost Nesnal will be published on Mister-Baseball tomorrow.
