With two weeks left in the regular season of the Italian Baseball League the field for the playoffs is pretty much set. Montepaschi Grosseto and Danesi Nettuno each are three games behind the top four and basically need to win every game down the stretch and additionally one of the other teams has to suffer a collapse.
A new set of three-game series starts tonight. Cariparma and UGF Bologna will battle for first place in the standings. The opener will be broadcasted live at Rai Sport. Montepaschi Grosseto could make up some ground in their series with T&A San Marino. Additionally Telemarket Rimini will face the Catania Warriors and Danesi Nettuno takes on the De Angelis Godo Knights.
