Two doubleheaders were played in the French Elite League on Sunday. The Rouen Huskies had to settle for a split in Toulouse. In game one Stade Toulousain came back from a 3-4-deficit in the bottom of the ninth to stun the defending champion 5-4. Rouen got a little bit of payback in game two, winning 3-2. Paris UC and Montigny also split their twin bill. The Cougars shut out PUC 9-0 in the first match, but lost a slugfest 12-13 in the second. The third doubleheader, which was planned for Sunday, between Savigny and Senart got rescheduled to September 12.
