After a one-week break due to the European Cups in Rotterdam and Brno, the Italian Baseball League resumes play. On Thursday evening the De Angelis Godo Knights take on T&A San Marino to open week ten this season. Godo is currently in eighth with a 3-24 record, while the Titans are third, trailing Telemarket Rimini and Cariparma Parma by a game.
The top matchup in the IBL this week should be the duel between Rimini and Danesi Nettuno. The Pirates, which qualified for the Final Four in Barcelona and have added Adam Bright to the bullpen, probably will send Jim Brower, Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez and Sandy Patrone to the mound. Nettuno will counter with Kris Wilson, Mark La Macchia and Carlos Richetti. Danesi hopes to continue its surge towards the top four, having won ten of the last eleven games. The three-game series starts on Friday.
