Italian Baseball League continues with 3 Games on Thursday

Posted on May 27, 2010 by philipp

Even after most of the teams have played 24 games during the 2010 season, the Italian Baseball League remains a four-team race for first place, as T&A San Marino leads the standings percentage points ahead of the tied UGF Bologna, Cariparma and Telemarket Rimini. Even Montepaschi Grosseto (2.5 games back) and Danesi Nettuno (4 games back) still could play a role this summer.

On Thursday the IBL continues with three games. While the duel between Nettuno and Grosseto at the Steno Borghese stadium will be on Italian TV, San Marino and Bologna will battle for first place at the Serravalle. Additionally the Pirates open a three-game series against the De Angelis Godo Knights. On Friday Cariparma and the Catania Warriors will kick off their three-game set.
