The reigning French champion Rouen Huskies reinforces its roster for the upcoming European Cup in Brno, Czech Republic. They are adding former Minor Leaguer Justin Staatz. The 26-year-old looks back at five years of professional baseball experience. He signed with the Minnesota Twins as an amateur free agent in 2006, where he made 22 appearances with an ERA of 3.78 at the Rookie level in the Gulf Coast League and the Appalachian League. He then joined independent league clubs in the Frontier League and the United Baseball League before leaving the United States to play in Australia and Japan. Now Europe is his latest destination for the journey man.
