The Norwegian Baseball League (NBL) underwent a rather significant facelift this off-season and returned to a similar format which existed in the early 90’s. This includes 1 league consisting of a East and West division rather than 2 leagues based on the previous season’s results.
Along with this the NBL has also instituted a playoff system which will consist of the 2 division champions and 2 wild card spots with the top seed facing the bottom seed, and the 2 and 3 seeds facing eachother in a best of 3 semi-final. The winners of this will face off in a best of 3 final.
