The Philippines National Baseball Team coach Edgar DELOS REYES signed a contract with Arrows Ostrava. REYES will replace Anthony BENNET who moved to Patriots Liberec for the 2008 season. He will come to Ostrava at the beginning of April. He will not come to Ostrava alone. National Team pitcher Jon-Jon ROBLES will join him. ROBLES played in the Philippines National League for the Makati Mariners with an ERA of 4.94 with 36 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched in part one of the season and an ERA of 1.51 with 61 K’s in 53.2 innings pitched in the second phase of the championship.
