Alex Baham leaves Bonn Capitals

Posted on May 5, 2010 by philipp

The Bonn Capitals announced on Monday in a press release that the 35-year-old Alex Baham will leave the club due to work-related reasons. Already having played in the German Baseball-Bundesliga between 1996 and 2003, he had returned to the Capitals this winter. He only made five appearances this season, going 2-for-15 with three runs scored and four RBI. He didn’t play in last Saturday’s split in Hamburg. Overall the Californian has a .391 batting average (OBP .501/SLG .692) with 38 homeruns, 213 runs and 220 RBI in 203 career games in Germany.
