The Port of Antwerp Greys will enter the two games against the Merchtem Cats this weekend in the Belgian First Division with a new shortstop in their lineup. Greg Perret, who played in Australia the past few months, will join the record champion. Between 2007 and 2009 he played 94 games for Washington College (NCAA Division III), batting .276 (OBP .331/SLG .358) with 47 runs and 44 RBI. He also had an ERA of 6.17 in 27 2/3 innings in his college career. The Greys were off last weekend after starting the season with three wins in four games. The Cats have lost the past five after winning the opener against Namur.
