In game one of their doubleheader against defending champion Tenerife Marlins, CB Sant Boi extended its winning streak to start the season to 13 games. Junior Guerra (W 4-0) allowed just two hits and five walks in seven scoreless innings to lead his team to a 3-0 shutout. Marc Carrillo put CB ahead with a two-run homerun in the sixth. Xavier Civit extended the lead with a RBI single in the eighth. Jose Guanchez closed out the three-hitter with two scoreless innings for his first save of the season. Leslie Nacar (L 4-3) surrendered six hits, two runs and four bb in 5 2/3 innings.
Game 2:

In the second game it was the combination of Luis Landaeta and Ivan Granados (W 5-2), which put an end to the undefeated streak. Granados issued just four hits and two walks in nine scoreless innings, while striking out twelve. Landaeta drove in the lone run of the match with a RBI single in the fourth. Jose Estebin Cruz (L 3-1) gave up one run on nine hits in seven innings for the loss.
San Inazio Bilbao – CB Viladecans 3-2, 12-9

San Inazio profited from the split by the Marlins to move into a tie for fourth place after winning twice against Viladecans. In game one a sac fly by Ruben Cabrera in the bottom of the eighth turned out to be decisive, as CB tried to come back in the ninth. They cut the deficit to 2-3 on an error, but in the end had to settle for a loss. Tony Granadillo and Luis Hernandez had provided an early 2-0 lead for Bilbao with a RBI double and a RBI single in the first two frames. Felix Cano Jr. put Viladecans on the board in the eighth with a solo homerun. Fidel Torres Mane (W 4-3) struck out nine batters in a complete game victory. Pol Llopis (L 3-3) issued five hits, two unearned runs and two bb in seven innings.

Game two turned out to be an exciting slugfest. San Inazio opened the contest with four runs in the first, but CB countered with a six-run fourth to take the lead. But Bilbao answered right away with a grand slam by Tony Granadillo (3 Runs, 4 RBI) in the bottom of the frame. Both teams exchanged runs for the reminder of the game until San Inazio Kelvin Marianucci and Ruben Cabrera added three RBI each. Denny de Jesus Nino and Miguel Catalan hit homeruns for the Catalonian club. Andoni Ortiz (W 2-0) picked up the win in relief of Albert Magallon, who struggled with seven allowed runs (2 ER) on eight hits in four innings. Jose Martin (L 0-1) took the loss. Aderly Grullon (VIL) started and issued five hits, eight runs and five bb in 3 2/3 innings.
El Llano – FC Barcelona 1-20 (5), 0-23 (5)

The FC Barcelona cut of a game from their deficit towards leader Sant Boi with a lopsided sweep in Gijon. In game one they scored eleven runs in the opening frame en route to a 20-1 win in five innings. Emmanuel Febles and Jesus Golindano combined to drive in seven runs. Oscar Angulo and Orlando Diaz scored three times each. Delio Miguel Martinez (W 2-0) issued one unearned run on six hits in five scoreless innings for the win. He struck out eight. Adrian Borges (L 0-1) lasted just one out, two hits, six runs (5 ER) and two walks to take the loss.
Game 2:

With the help of eight errors by El Llano Barcelona needed just ten hits to win 23-0 in game two on Sunday morning. FCB batters walked 14 times in the game. Emmanuel Febles went 3-for-5 with four runs scored and four RBI. Oscar Angulo also scored four times, while Jesus Golindano collected four RBIs. Pedro Pablo Belmonte (FCB) pitched three no-hit innings before making room on the mound for Oscar Gimenez (W 1-0), who picked up his first win of the season. David Lopez (L 0-1) surrendered seven hits, 14 runs (12 ER) and seven bb in one-plus innings.
CD Pamplona – Baseball Navarra 0-5, 4-15 (8)

Navarra solidified third place in the Division de Honor standings with two wins against local rivals CD Pamplona. Juan Jose Lopez (W 4-2) cruised in game one, allowing just two hits and a walk in seven scoreless innings to lead his team to a 5-0 shutout. His RBI single in a three-run first also provided an early cushion. Victor Martinez and Juan Miguel Marte added two RBI each. Marcos Castillo (L 1-6) was charged with nine hits, five runs and five walks in a complete game loss.
Game 2:

Baseball Navarra broke a 3-3 tie with a four-run rally in the fifth, which also turned open the floodgates for the offense, which continued to score on its way to a 15-4 win in eight innings. Juan Miguel Marte and Victor Martinez scored three times apiece. Aritz Leiva drove in three. Marte (W 1-0) received the win on the mound, allowing six hits, four runs and a walk in five innings. Juan Redin (L 2-3) conceded five hits, ten runs (7 ER) and ten bb in 5 1/3 innings.
Halcones de Vigo – Astros Valencia 3-0, 8-9
Game 1:

Roman Carrasco (W 1-1) out-dueled John Scott Dunn (L 3-4) to lead Halcones to a 3-0 win over Valencia in game one of their two-game set. Carrasco struck out ten batters in a complete game victory, his first of the season. He issued just four hits and a walk. Dunn sat down twelve batters with strikeouts, but also was responsible for seven hits, three runs (1 ER) and a bb in eight innings. Marcos Trillo scored two of the three runs for Vigo.
Game 2:

The second game was an interesting back-and-forth affair. The Astros got better out of the gates and took a fast 5-0 lead after the opening frame. But Vigo answered with eight runs between the third and the sixth to move up in front 8-6. But after cutting the deficit to a run in the seventh, Valencia came back in the ninth to win the match 9-8 on a RBI fielder’s choice by Alberto Orti in combination with a throwing error by Halcones’ second baseman Roman Carrasco, who just had been inserted as a defensive replacement at the beginning of the inning. Jordi Valles (W 2-3) got the win after 5 1/3 solid innings of relief. Marcos Trillo (L 0-1) took the loss.
