The Winter League in the Czech Republic, dedicated to the U10 category, which contains three tournaments total in Prague and Louny, will culminate this weekend in Louny. Seven teams from Prague and Louny will fight for the trophy of the first edition of the Winter League 2009-2010.

Lokomotiva Louny is in the pole position after winning both previous tournaments without any loss. If they will not collapse during the last tournament, they will win. The only other team which could threaten Louny is Kotlarka Praha I. They finished third and second so far.

We can also expect a big fight for third place in the final standings of the Winter League between the Eagles Praha and the Tempo Titans, since they could meet in the bronze medal game with the winner taking third place overall in the Czech Winter League. Fifth place is still open too, with SaBaT Praha and Sparks Mlade Buky, which missed the second tournament in Modrany, battling for this position in the final standings.
