El Llano to play in Division de Honor after all

At the end of January the Spanish Division de Honor club El Llano had submitted its withdrawal from the 2010 competition due to economical reasons. Ten days later the Gijon-based team is back in the league lineup. After hearing about the unfortunate decision the city council of Gijon and the general director of sports in the Asturias region began separate negotiations with El Llano to solve the financial problems, which in the end were successful. Afterwards the Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation (RFEBS) also gave the green light and accepted the return of the club into the Division de Honor lineup. El Llano will start on February 28th into the new season, playing against the Astros in Valencia.
