El Llano withdraws from Spanish Division de Honor

Posted on February 8, 2010February 8, 2010 by philipp

El Llano will not play in Division de Honor this year

Just a few weeks before the start of the 2010 season El Llano has withdrawn its participation in the Spanish Division de Honor. Probably economic reasons led to this decision, which was announced at the beginning of February. The format for the league will not be modified. The other nine teams will have an off day on game days they were supposed to play the club from Gijon. It is expected that now several of El Llano’s players will join the nearby clubs Halcones de Vigo and San Inazio Bilbao. El Llano finished in seventh place with a 16-20 record last year. The new season in Spain starts on February 27th.
