FIBS confirms Foreign Players in Italian Baseball and Softball

Victor Moreno won the Italian Championship with Bologna in 2009On Wednesday the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation released the list of foreign players on its website FIBS.it, which were confirmed by their 2009 clubs. This doesn’t have to mean that these players will play in the Italian Baseball or Softball League this upcoming season; it is just the case that they cannot play for other clubs in Italy.

Italian Baseball League:

  • Eddy Jorge Garabito (Fortitudo Bologna)
  • Jesus Maria Matos (Fortitudo Bologna)
  • Victor Hugo Moreno (Fortitudo Bologna)
  • Orlando Gregorio Munoz (Parma)
  • Mihai Burlea (Parma)
  • Juan Bautista Figueroa (Grosseto)
  • Jesus Marquez (Catania Warriors Paternò)

Italian Softball League:

  • Kate Judd (Legnano)
  • Melinda Weaver (Macerata)
  • Katerina Dvorakova (Caserta)
  • Chantal Desiree Millard (Caserta)
  • Lucie Petraskova (Nuoro)
