Major League Baseball is going to organize, like in 2007, a tryout camp in Prague on May 6th. Krc Altron Praha will host it on their baseball and softball fields. They have split the day into two sessions. The first one begins at 1pm CET and is supposed for Eastern Europe. The second follows at 4pm CET and is only open for Czech players.
Two MLB representatives and two scouts from the MLB Scouting Bureau will overlook the tryout. In addition they are also expecting the arrival of former major league all-star and coach of the MLB Academy Bruce Hurst. He will hold a short clinic for pitchers.
