Posted on February 15, 2008 by philipp

Several members of the Spanish National Team, including pitchers and catchers, have already started their preparation for the upcoming Olympic qualifier. Players like Yoel HERNANDEZ, Jorge BALBOA, Remigio LEAL, Dewis NAVARRO and Miguel MORA are working out in Barcelona since February 11th. Position players will report to training camp today. They will stay at there until Monday February 18th. After that they travel to San Diego, playing a series of exhibition games against University teams in South California. They break camp on March 2nd. Their first game in Taiwan is scheduled for March 7th against host Chinese Taipei.

What a pleasure to have the Spanish National Team play an exhibition game at Point Loma Nazarene University. Here are some photographs I took during the game.

Thanks again, to Team Espana, and good luck in the qualifiers!
