With the new make-up of the Italian Baseball Leagues, seven clubs from the Parma area met to discuss the 2010 future. Besides the IBL1 club Cariparma, also on hand were Collecchio, Colorno, Crocetta, Parma Junior, Oltretorrente and Sala Baganza. According to Baseball.it in addition to some administrative decisions, they selected Parma Junior to compete in the new IBL2 as the second division team of Cariparma. The team will not have a permanent home field, but will instead play their games alternating on all fields of the Parma region, which meet the necessary regulations.
