2009 in Review – Dutch Hoofdklasse – ADO

During the next couple of weeks, maybe months, we are going to look back at the 2009 season. We will start with the Dutch Hoofdklasse.

2009 Record: 10-31 (one tie)
2009 Final Ranking: Seventh Place in Hoofdklasse. During the playdowns the club from The Hague lost in five games to MR. COCKER HCAW, but prevailed in four against RCH MEDIA MONKS to avoid relegation.

Runs Allowed: 269

Best Batter: Aeden McQueary-Ennis. The American with British passport batted .324/.438/.505 with 15 extra base hits, 16 runs scored and 18 RBI this year. He was third in the Hoofdklasse with twelve doubles.

Best Pitcher: Tyler Levin. He had a 1-7 record in 16 games (13 starts) with an ERA of 3.51 and 74 strikeouts (26 walks) in 84 2/3 innings.

Most Walks: Jurrian Koks 42 (3rd most in Hoofdklasse)
