Belgian Series: Hoboken Pioneers win Championship

The HOBOKEN PIONEERS completed the three-game sweep in the Belgian Series on Saturday with a 4-3 victory against the PORT OF ANTWERP GREYS and won the first championship since 1970. The PIONEERS had won the first two games one week ago 5-4 and 7-4 and ended the four-year reign of the GREYS with the one-run nail biter.

Hoboken Pioneers – Port of Antwerp Greys 5-4
Sunday, October 4th:
Port of Antwerp Greys – Hoboken Pioneers 4-7
Saturday, October 10th:
Hoboken Pioneers – Port of Antwerp Greys 4-3
