Mister Baseball

The three baseball teams in Zurich, Switzerland will get a new ballpark. A poll for the rebuild of the complete sports complex “Heerenschuerli” received 74,8 percent of the votes. The complete costs are estimated with 50 Million Franken. There are planned several new playing fields, soccer grounds, a new service facility and a new baseball field. It will be build according international rules with regular dimensions. It is a big step for the development of the Challenger, Barracudas, Lions and Swiss baseball in general. Construction should start next summer and could be completed at the end of 2009.
