Fortitudo Bologna extended their lead in the standings by sweeping the Rangers Redipuglia and they are now five games up in front of Danesi Nettuno. In third is now T&A San Marino after three victories against Telemarket Rimini. With the same 21-12 record in fourth is the reigning champion Montepaschi Grosseto. After them there is already a gap of three games to Cariparma, which can reduce the deficit in the upcoming series against San Marino.
