Mister Baseball

The first game day of the 2008 Italian Baseball League is in the books. It featured some interesting results and a few thrilling contests. The two finalists of 2007, MONTEPASCHI GROSSETO and DANESI CAFFE NETTUNO swept their opening series. FORTITUDO BOLOGNA surprisingly got their first defeat of the season with Jesus Matos on the mound, but came back to win the series against T&A SAN MARINO. TELEMARKET RIMINI outscored CARIPARMA 17-12, but lost still two of the three games.
