World Cup: Roster for South Korean team published
One day before the official start for the World Cup of Baseball, the South Korean team published their official roster for the tournament. It is obviously that major league stars like Chan Ho PARK, Hee Seop CHOI and Byung-Hyun KIM are missing. Nevertheless, the long-time rival of Cuba on the international level, who won the title in 1982 and was the runner-up in 2005, will bring a competitive squad to the championship. Korea is placed in group B with Germany, the Netherlands, Cuba, Venezuela, Thailand, Australia and Canada.
