Outfielder Wladimir Balentien of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows has tied the all-time Japanese single-season home run record of the legendary Sadaharu Oh. The 29-year-old is playing in Japan since 2011 and belted home run number 55 on Wednesday. Balentien joins Tuffy Rhodes and Alex Cabrera besides Oh at the top of the list, which had tied the mark in 2001 respective 2002. Oh set the record in 1964.
