The EURO STARS have found a replacement for the departing Glyniss Kenepa, who left the club after a few weeks ago for unknown reasons. Willy van der Lee takes over and tries to lead the team to better finish than last season, when they were ranked sixth with a 14-21 record and missed the playoffs. Van der Lee worked for the Dutch National Softball Team last summer.
Mary-Ann Hatt, who was the head coach for the EURO STARS from 2004-2007, stepped down after the conclusion of the 2007 season. She is currently a member of the coaching staff of the national team, which will compete this summer in the Olympics in Beijing.

Unknown reasons = Players voted him out finally because he was knowledgeless about softball. Thank god for the change!!
