Williams Vasquez joins T&A San Marino
Corner infielder Williams VASQUEZ signed with T&A San Marino. He played for the relegated Avigliana last season and follows teammate Matthew MARRONE. The pitcher had signed with the fifth place finisher earlier this winter.
VASQUEZ led his team with a .338 batting average (OBP .445/SLG .531), 25 runs scored and 24 RBI. Juan CAMILLO of Nettuno was the only player who topped his seven homeruns in the Italian Baseball League. The 24-year-old had also a solid season in the field, handling third base (FLD% .934) with ease. He will definitely help San Marino to make a step forward.
