Wanze 4-Nations Tournament with Belgian and British National Teams
From May 10th until May 12th a four-team tournament takes place in Wanze, Belgium. It features the Belgian and the British National Teams in addition to all-star squads from Quebec, Canada and the Belgian First Division. The event honors the 20th anniversary of the LFFBS (French-Speaking League in Belgium), which hosts and organizes the tournament.
The weather forecast looks great and there will be live commentaries, a 300-seat tribune, a large bar, a BBQ area, free camping ground and many things more. Parallel to the main event, a kid’s tournament takes also place with six teams.
Several prominent announced their attendance, like the minister for sport Michel Daerden, players from the Liege basketball team, and members of Standard Liege (soccer).
Nine games are scheduled for the three days with the opening match on Saturday morning between the Belgian National Team and the International All-Star Squad.
