Two Dutch national team players made the big step and joined the Pennsylvania Rebellion in the National Pro Fastpitch League in the United States this year. Virginie Anneveld and Dagmar Bloeming concluded the 2015 season this week. Anneveld appeared in 16 games (14 starts), batting .139/.162/.139 with three runs and two RBI for the 16-32 club. Bloeming went 1-2 with an ERA of 6.07 in 11 games (4 starts). She struck out five and walked eight in 15 innings. The team got managed by Craig Montvidas, who coached the Women’s Dutch National Team until last year.
