Venezuela reveals Final Roster for #Premier12

The Venezuelan roster for the Premier 12 is going to have a couple of familiar names on the team. The Venezuelan Baseball Federation revealed its final roster this week. Manager Luis Sojo has invited 14 pitchers, three catchers, six infielders and five outfielders. Some of them already played in the big leagues, others in Italy. Former big leaguers Freddy Garcia, Fernando Nieve and Felipe Paulino lead the pitching staff. Gregorio Petit, Ray Olmedo and Juan Rivera are probably the biggest names on the position player side.

Roster:

Pitchers: Mario Martínez, Fernando Nieve, Felipe Paulino, Freddy García, Carlos Monasterio, Jesús Yépez, Yoel Hernández, Pedro Guerra, Gabriel Alfaro, Luis Chirinos, Jesús Martínez, Jhonny Caraballo, Yorman Bazardo, Robert Placencia.

Catchers: José Yépez, Juan Apodaca, Jonathan Jaspe.

Infielders: Gregorio Petit, Rainer Olmedo, Delio Martínez, Luis Jiménez, Renny Osuna, Francisco Caraballo.

Outfielders: Juan Rivera, Carlos Durán, Douglas Landaeta, Yonathan Sivira, Frank Díaz.
