Three of the Quarterfinals matchups ended on Saturday. Only the series between the TORNADOS and UNTOUCHABLES is going the distance. The decisive fifth game is scheduled for Sunday, August 10 at 13:00 CET.
Three teams advanced into the semi-finals already. As expected the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE and the HEIDEKOEPFE didn’t waste any sweat and swept their series against the CARDINALS and WANDERERS. The ALLIGATORS also had not that much problems with the ATHLETICS on home turf. They defeated the 2007 champion 8-1 and 7-0 to win the series 3-1. They are going to face REGENSBURG in the semis in a rematch of the 2006 finals. HEIDENHEIM plays the winner of MANNHEIM versus PADERBORN.
