Tyler Levin to pitch for ADO in 2009

After the British National Team player Aeden McQueary-Ennis last week, ADO acquired right-hander Tyler Levin a few days before the start of the new Hoofdklasse season. He attended Columbia Basin College and Central Washington University from 2005 to 2008, posting a 7-5 record with an ERA of 3.50 and 67 strikeouts (ten walks) in 98 innings in his final year. During the past winter he was playing in the South Australian Baseball League. According to his profile on Rogier van Zon’s Honkbalsite.com he throws an 85-88 mph fastball and also has a cutter, a slider and a change-up in his repertoire.
