The Italian Baseball League (IBL) kicks off their 2008 schedule next Thursday with a night game between MONTEPASCHI GROSSETO and RANGERS REDIPUGLIA. This weekend four IBL teams face each other in Bologna for the 17th edition of the Blue F Ball or also called the Memorial Lamberto Lenzi. The last warm up tournament before the season openers features three of the four playoff participants of last year, GROSSETO, FORTITUDO and CARIPARMA in addition to SAN MARINO.
