With the national team playing in Prague, the two top-ranked teams in the Austrian Baseball League meet on Saturday in Attnang-Puchheim to battle for first place, when the Athletics take on the Vienna Wanderers. Both teams are only separated by a single game in the standings. The first try of the showdown was rained out a few weeks ago. There also was a second matchup planned in the ABL this weekend, but the doubleheader between the Stock City Cubs and the Schwechat Blue Bats had to be rescheduled again.
