Top Four Teams play against each other
The UNION KUFSTEIN VIKINGS, which lost last week twice in Vienna against the SUPERFUND WANDERERS, travel to the same city this Saturday to clash with the METROSTARS. The VIKINGS are still the prime of the league with an 11-3 record, but their lead in the league shrunk to two games.
On Sunday the other two teams in the top four of the standings in the Austrian Baseball League will also meet. The MOSQUITO ATHLETICS will host the WANDERERS in Attnang-Puchheim. Both are separated by just a half game and hope to march more towards the top of the standings.
